I wish Rivers would come back to retire a Charger so we can see him in the bolts 1 last time. How would you like to see him retire as a Charger? I personally like the idea of him throwing the first ball of a season then swapping with Herbert as if he’s passing the gauntlet to him. I would honestly love to see Rivers 17 on the new powder blues. I’m really tempted to get it on a personalised jersey from the Chargers store.

If the Chargers play on the 11th of September it would be 16 years to the day that Rivers made his debut with the Chargers. That would be the prime day that they could have a half time celebration with him and retire his number and also him as a Charger. That would now be my favourite scenario for Rivers to retire as a Charger
