Okay, I've had some time to decompress and reflect. Some thoughts: As much as I wish things in the past had gone differently, I know they won't change. However, I'm excited to see the changes to come and see what is in store for us. You guys have made this journey over the last few years so much easier and I thank you for that. I know we say, "next year" as a habitual song at this point, but I feel like with all of the things we've been saying all along, choosing to blame the Spani to make it easier to swallow, I think the recent statements have made it clear they understand things can not keep going in the same way so hopefully this means good changes for the players and us. I guess I need to do a question: Favorite flavor of chips? Personally, I love BBQ, but I can get down on some Jalapeno Cheddar Cheetos. FTR, FTC, KLUB.

The only way I think to properly express how we all feel right now, is a little song by a very small indy band i'm sure no one has heard of. Now some thoughts: I was actually not going to watch the rest of the seaon, however, with Staley gone I'm interested to see how the guys play with the change in coaching and game plans. I wish Staley the best. He seems like a great person and has the potential to be an amazing HC again after learning from his mistakes, I wish all the best to Tommy T as well. He had some stellar picks, like Justin and Tui to name obvious ones. However, at this point, I just want something to work and I hope the annoucement from Dean means him and John will be stepping back from daily operations and just let the team win and make him money, which at the end of the day I'm sure the team will if they start winning. Plus, it would be nice to be on the other side of those close games for a change! Lastly, it's almost relieving knowing we aren't going to playoffs to I don't feel such high blood pressure on these last games! Haha. First of all, thanks guys SO much for letting me take your tickets off your hands! It was an amazing experience and even though the game didn't go how we all expected or wanted, I still had a wonderful time with my cohorts! I apologize now for the long "question". We started off the day rough trying to find parking, but once we did, we got right in front of our entrance! Walked inside to do shopping and watch the guys warm up. Watching the legends come onto the field was so nostalgic and made us BTFU! We'll forget about the game, however, seeing the pic on the very first play of the Donkey's drive was amazing we were right there to see it! The tribute to Gates really made us tear up and so happy for him. He is one of my fav players with Phil and I am so excited to see him get into the Canton for his 1st ballot! Being at the game really just make you miss a lot, we didn't know Herbert was out until we saw Stick come in! We now know it is pretty severe and I think we need to put gloves on Herbert to make his fingers stay in place from now on. On our way out (I forgot to video it!) we checked on the Pirates and they lost! So we ended up making ourselves feel better by letting everyone know they lost and if the saying the enemy of my enemy wasn't true, we wouldn't have gotten so many cheers from Broncos fans! Overall it was a great experience and I appreciate Broncos fans being cordial and no one rubbed the horrible game in our faces. After the game to wait out the traffic we decided to drown our sorrows by getting Rosco's down the street. All in all it was an exhausting, but amazing day! Some thoughts: How do we all feel that we're still technically in the hunt for the playoffs? Personally I'm just thinking if we make it we really don't deserve it unless the team can play cohesively all 3 phases. To that, shoutout to the Special teams esp JK and Dicker for being consistent as always! I realize that no matter what this team does to me, I still care and that's why it hurts so much to see us do poorly. Especially knowing we have so many great players we should be doing better. Which i'm sure is a lot of people's sentiment. I've also learned to stay off Twitter because those people clearly don't watch our games or are maybe just bots or trolls trying to get us rilled up for no reason. Well, I guess the team didn't benefit from that team building experience we dreamed up for them. Seriously though, I'm sure these points will be hit on by you guys in the beginning of the episode along with other questions. However, my thoughts: the offense was great in the first half. Seemed like we were able to actually get something going. What I don't understand is why we basically stopped running the ball in the second half, or, maybe that's just what I saw. However, despite my grievences with Staley calling the defense, I have to say they played much better in the second half. OH and for everyone who says QJ is a bust, fuck off. We don't need your negativity and the catch he made from Justin was one of my favorite plays of the day! Also, so happy for Mack getting another sack! Keep ticking that number up, we gotta keep you fighting with TJ for best defensive linebacker. 👀 Lastly, I just want to take a moment to say, I LOVE K9 and his step up this season. Well, our defense was significantly improved when Sebastian came back in. Can we say 4 sacks! Can't say I'm surprised at how well they did considering JC is gone. I'm so looking forward to Herbert and the offense finding a rhythm by next game. It's a long streak of wins we need to keep up! This team is gunna kill me, but I'm happy to go die for them. Kevin, I appreciate you, but, you need to stop throwing Hopkins away with the trash. Dicker is good, sure, but we: A, know what Hopkins is like after his second season and it's not just a fluke how good he is. B, he literally broke himself to give us that win against the Donkeys. 2. MAN it was nice seeing our boys play all 4 quarters on this and last week's game. Oh also, did I mention, FOOTBALL IS BACK. 3. I agree with you, Kyle, seeing Kellen on the sidelines is just an amazing cherry on top of an already wonderful offense that is ready to beat up those cock juggling thundercunts, or the rest of the league knows them as the Chiefs,Broncos, and Raiders. 4. Lastly, that interview with Gates, both the podcast and patron versions were STELLAR. Thanks so much for giving us an insight to one of the GOATS. It's a normal day at the palace you work at as a guard when suddenly you and your fellow guards are hit with potions from a random peasant with a...llama? Your friend is turned into a COW. Confused, he asks to go home, the emperor's advisor let's him leave and asks if anyone else would like to. You decline as you've somehow gotten lucky to be turned into a Gorilla so you're good. Then she yells to go arrest the man and llama as they have murdered your emperor as they jump down the water pipe, that you know you won't make. Before you can contemplate, she bungie jumps down after them. Once everything comes to a head you find out the llama WAS the Emperor and his advisor has turned into a cat. You couldn't believe the day you just had. The real question: Would you rather spend a year as a Honey badger or a lion? Downside is you can't understand anything and are just a normal animal living in the wild until you are changed back, upside is you remember everything that happened in the past year. I'll admit, that defeat took a lot out of me and I needed some time to process what happened, but I am BACK. Plus, lets be honest, he made enough money to still be fine and he's living his best life with his fam and having the name "Lombardi" certainly doesn't hurt his affluency. So I'm sure he'll find something and hopefully just be the same ol' same ol' we had. Hahha. Seeing the MF'ing Cheifs, do it again was so frustrating and ugh I can not stand Patty Mahomes. HOWEVER, I have huge faith in the Eagles and hope they can pull this dub out. I was very surprised, pleasantly, but us picking up Moore. My dad is a Cowboys fan and if someone can make Cooper Rush look that good, that's a winner in my book. I am SO hyped to see what we're going to do with Herbert next year. As far as the draft goes, GIVE ME A KELCE TE. IF we can get someone to fill that spot....we got it. I realize there is more to our downfall than that, but I feel like that's a major piece of the offense we're missing and I would love to see it filled with a Kelce/Gronk type. Herbert is feeling like Rivers every so often, forcing plays to happen, then he turns the ball over. I want him to slow down and be okay with not having to make a pass, just throw it out or if possible make the first/gain yards himself. No disrespect to Papa Rivers! First the shamelessly positive: This was not the team we expected to come out and boooooy howdy was it a motherfucking exciting ride. Justin was able to get the ball out quickly, but still be so accurate. Kelly wasn't explosive, but was so consistent in running through them. Mike was catching shit like he never left, Allen was making some great routes to allow things to open up. Linsley was actually back and we can finally shut up, that jealous wanna be that has less clue of what he's talking about than Colin Cowherd. Negative: Bosa and the rest of the Oline isn't back yet. Dicker is probably going to be gone next year because he'll definitely be picked up by someone.
