Wooldog, no question to post. Just a check in.
Got a few text's from Boltfam asking if I was okay after disappearing from the forum.
I'm fine and thanks for the check-in! Love me some Boltfam!
Just had to abstain from the forum because I just couldn't pretend to be positive. I could find positive things about both games, sure. I just didn't want to be a Debbie downer. Game is tomorrow. I am pumped. Looking forward to it. Can't wait.
Stay off of X - I do. That is where the true, unhealthy negativity is.
I get it that it is no fun when you are hearing all the negative comments about the team and the players we love.
However, lets talk about Fan Rights for a minute. Yup, that's right. We have rights too. We spend our money on tickets, nfl sunday ticket, jersey's, and every bit of fan memorable stuff that they make. It is entertainment. You cannot say that the games have not been entertaining, it is just that we are Chargers fans and when you lose it stings. (Especially the way we have lost the last two) My point? I get that it is not cool to just throw up all over the internet and start screaming for heads, but it is perfectly cool, acceptable and understandable to be disappointed. I think Coach did a marvelous job of expressing disappointment in the Forget the Titans episode without going to the dark side. :)
On the flip side, this is not lollipops, rainbows and Unicorns either. For me, acting like it is, is just as disappointing as going to the dark side. This is an emotional game. We are fans. We are invested. We get emotional. Okay. Just keep it real.
