So, we just saw Eric Fischer sign with Miami this week. Question, for a Chargers team who clearly has been struggling for OL help and gone 2-4 in the last 6 games, in large part because we our OL looks as functional as salmon trying to swim in an elevator, why didnt we sign Oday Aboushi, Eric Fischer, or Bryan Bulaga? Especially when it was so clear after the bye week that OL was in need. And at that point, it's not like were needing them for 17 games, just the 2nd half. Oday is now with the Rams, Eric obviously with the Fins, and Bryan is still a FA I think. Was it a salary cap this? Didnt we still have money left over from the offseason? Any of those guys would have been better than Will Clapp, Foster Sarell, Storm Norton, or Brenden Jaimes. Especially since its clear to Herbert and to the coaching staff, that those three guys couldnt stop a snail and dont belong in the NFL.
