In the words of Austin Ek
“Our coaching hasn’t always been the best. Our play hasn’t always been the best.”
Maybe the bye week early is a blessing. All I want to do is think about the time we started 1-3 and finished the season 11-5 and made it as far as the AFC Championship game or the 4-8 season we finished 8-8 and won a playoff game. Keeping the faith.
The common denominator between Mike McCoy, Anthony Lynn, and now Staley, is they are first year head coaches with flashes, one, strong season, then sputters out with no consistency. All in the worst way possible. Could poor roster management be the weakness to all these guys? You let experience walk every off-season and the guys you are replacing that with look lost/not developed, are not being put in key moments that they should be, or not being used at all. What do you think?
Ps I'm happy about getting to meet Adam, Kevin, Kat, and see the Brisket Broads again in KC on October 22. Kyle maybe one day ill get to meet you as well! Not jumping ship and cheering on these bolts. Love the fans in this group that make me feel better every week.
K Luv You Bye
